Supporting people to thrive, connect and achive their goals.
Our Team
Meet the Team Behind AHA Therapies
At AHA Therapies, our team is committed to helping individuals build skills, increase independence and achieve meaningful outcomes in everyday life.

Our team includes Behaviour Support Practitioners, Behaviour Therapists, Early Intervention Therapists and Counsellors who work collaboratively with participants, families, carers and relevant professionals to provide individualised, respectful and practical support.

We believe effective support begins with understanding the individual. By recognising each person’s strengths, preferences, communication needs and circumstances, we develop and implement strategies that reflect what matters most to them.

Our focus is on building meaningful connections, supporting skill development and helping individuals participate more confidently in their daily lives.

Who Will Be Supporting You?
Our Behaviour Support Practitioners and Behaviour Therapists have distinct but complementary roles in supporting individuals with a range of needs.
Behaviour Support Practitioners
Our Behaviour Support Practitioners undertake behaviour assessments, functional behaviour assessments and Behaviour Support Plan development within their qualifications and authorisation. They work to understand behaviours of concern, identify contributing factors and develop individualised strategies that promote safety, independence and quality of life.
Behaviour Therapists
Our Behaviour Therapists work with individuals to implement agreed strategies and develop practical skills aligned with their goals and support plans. This may include communication, emotional regulation, daily routines, social participation and alternative skills that help individuals express their needs.
Together, our team connects assessment, planning and practical intervention to support consistent, individualised care.
How Does Our Team Work Together?
We believe meaningful progress is supported by collaboration, communication and a shared understanding of each individual’s goals.

Our Behaviour Support Practitioners and Behaviour Therapists work together to connect assessment findings with practical intervention. Feedback from therapy sessions and relevant observations can help inform progress reviews and identify where additional guidance or adjustments may be needed.

Where appropriate, we also collaborate with families, carers, support coordinators, support workers and other professionals involved in the individual’s care.

This collaborative approach helps promote consistency across relevant environments, including home, educational settings and the community, while keeping the individual’s needs, choices and goals at the centre of support.
